Accessible, easy and friendly to ride, Triumph Bonneville Bobber is the company’s best-seller drawing inspiration in post-war bobber era. No wonder it has been added to expand the Bobber line as an additional, but highly appealing model. The 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black faces the distinctive makeover – anodized black or chromed, it’s up to you – featuring, however, just a few changes.
First of all, the Bobber Black boasts a new distinctive, certainly muscular front end, with larger balloon-like tires and a more pronounced, beefier 47mm Showa fork while a front wheel is a bit smaller, just 16 inches instead of familiar 19 inches of the standard Bobber. Second, now the Bobber Black gets a full LED headlight as well as mounted daytime running light. Third, but not least – the machine gets Brembo two-piston calipers along with the twin rotor set up and a twin-skin exhaust, sound so perfect! And the smartest cruise control ever via ‘one-push’ button, easy! On the other hand, the 1,200cc SOHC vertical twin engine remains unchanged producing 76hp at 6,100rpm, alongside with the triangular frame. Oh, we nearly forgot to mention a special catalogue with more than 120 Triumph-offered accessories for the bike. Cool?
